Al-Quds International Film Festival: Algerian director Hassan Ferhani awarded

GAZA- The documentary "Fi rassi rond-point" (In my head a roundabout) by Algerian film director, Hassan Ferhani, won the award for best feature-length documentary film at the 5th International Film Festival of Al-Quds (Palestine), which wrapped up Sunday evening, reported the Palestinian press.

The 100-minute documentary offers an immersion into the world of the workers of the Algiers slaughterhouses, a space both gloomy and vital where men work behind closed doors, to the rhythm of their daily tasks.

Made in 2015, the film has won numerous international awards in Tunisia, Egypt and Italy, in addition to Algeria.

For his part, Algerian actor Boudjemâa Djilali won the Golden Oliver for Best Actor Actor ex-aequo with Syrian actor Ayman Zidane for his role in "Until the end of time" by director Yasmine Chouikh.
