Artist Seloua passes away: Algeria loses figurehead in Algerian art

ALGIERS- The minister of Culture and Arts, Wafa Chaalal, said that Algeria "lost a figurehead in the Algerian art" as artist Fettouma Lemitti, by her stage name Seloua, died Thursday at the age of 86 after a long illness.
