DUBAI (United Arab Emirates)- Algeria will mark Sunday its national day at the Expo 2020 Dubai, an opportunity to make known its culture and rich heritage.
Several artistic and cultural activities shedding light on the diversity of Algerian culture and its ancestral identity are on the day's agenda.
The celebration of the National Day of Algeria will be held this afternoon at the small square of Al-Wasl (inside Expo 2020 Dubai), in the presence of Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahamne.
Algeria Day event, part of the activities held by the Algerian pavilion scheduled throughout the Expo, will be an opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Algeria and its forward-looking vision through an exceptional time travel: from the cradle of mankind, in Ain Bouchrit, to the ambitions of energy transition and smart cities.
Expo 2020 Dubai opened on October 1 and will run until March 31.
The event provides the opportunity for each of the participant countries to celebrate their own national days.
