32 unexploited ores in Algeria, says Arkab

ALGIERS- Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab underlined Saturday that 32 unexploited ores have been listed in Algeria, calling to intensify investments in the mining sector.

Participating in a workshop on "ways and means to give a new boost to the investment and creation of wealth and long-term jobs," organized as part of the meeting Government-Governors, Arkab stressed the necessity of implementing structural projects in every province and of steering , as soon as possible, towards energy exploitation in accordance with the country's potentials.

The minister pointed out that the investors are invited in the next 15 days to present the country's mining potentials, notably the available ores, affirming that the sector is working for the attraction of private investments.

In this respect, Arkab called on the governors to support the investors in the field of the extraction of mining resources.

He also called for the contribution of micro-enterprises in the mining investment.
