Algeria made a strong debut in the Bloomberg Innovation Index entering the 2020 ranking edition at No. 49. The 2020 edition considered more than 200 economies. Each was scored on a 0-100 scale based on seven equally weighted categories. For more Info :
Bloomberg explains that Innovation is a critical driver of growth and prosperity and that the annual Bloomberg Innovation Index shed light on the ability of economies to innovate. In its eighth year, the ranking analyzed dozens of criteria using seven metrics, including research and development spending, manufacturing capability and concentration of high-tech public companies.
