DUBAI (United Arab Emirates)- Algeria's pavilion in the Expo 2020 Dubai will organize next December a business forum to explore partnership opportunities between Algerian and foreign companies, the pavilion's manager, Mokrane Ourahmoune, said.
The event aims to shed light on Algeria's economic capacities and the cooperation opportunities of the national market, Ourahmoune told APS.
The event includes lectures on business climate in Algeria as well as bilateral business meetings (B to B), the Algerian pavilion's manager said.
The meeting, to be organized in collaboration with the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Agency for Investment Development, and in coordination with Algerian organizations of business leaders, will coincide with the first session of the Algeria-UAE joint commission.
Ourahmoune said a lecture would be held on the Trans-Sahara Highway project as part of the Algerian activities during the Expo 2020 Dubai, and which will be given by the head of the project's communication committee, Mohamed Ayadi.
In the cultural field, Algerian pavilion's organizers scheduled for January 2022 a lecture on the archaeological discoveries of an Algerian team.
The discoveries include stone tools that confirm the existence of Man on Algerian soil for more than 2.4 million years.
