Expo 2020 Dubai: Two tourist weeks to promote destination Algeria

ALGIERS- Two weeks to promote tourism and craft industry are organized from 13 to 27 December as part of the international exhibition "Expo 2020 Dubai," the National Tourism Office (ONT) said Monday in a statement.

After the success made by the sector of Tourism and Craft Industry (from 8 to 15 November) at the international exhibition "Expo 2020 Dubai" at the United Arab Emirates," the Ministry of Tourism participates once again in two weeks of tourism and craft industry promotion from 13 to 27 December 2021," said the source.

ONT, accompanied by the Algerian National Office of Tourism (ONAT) and the National Agency of Traditional Craft Industry (ANART), seeks to "shed light on Algeria's tourist image and promote tourism and craft industry by introducing the assets and potentials our country possesses."

In order to highlight a part of the country's craft heritage, "craftsmen in various fields will present their works during this event through workshops that will enable the visitors to attend the creation of some products," said the source.

This event will also be an opportunity to increase the contacts with the different players and media outlets in order to provide them with any possible information promoting Algeria's tourist image.
