ALGIERS- Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) will hold its 4th annual workshop on the promotion of natural gas demand on Wednesday, with the participation of Algeria, the energy organization said in a statement.
"The GECF will host its 4th annual Natural Gas Demand Promotion Workshop on 29 September 2021, featuring several panels to bring new, actionable and forward-looking perspectives on a wide variety of natural gas benefits in terms of energy transition and explain how it will meet the future energy needs of our planet," the statement said.
The event's speakers include the minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, Bolivia's minister of Hydrocarbon and Energy, Franklin Molina Ortiz, the president of the GECF ministerial meeting 2021, and the Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed M. Oun.
The list of speakers also includes, Stuart Young, the minister of Energy and Energy Industries of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamal Abbasov, the deputy minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, the GECF secretary general, Yury P. Sentyurin, the president of the International Gas Union, Joe M. Kang, and the Executive President of the African Chamber of Energy.
