ALGIERS- Tassili Airlines intends to open a new air service between Algiers and Niger through weekly charter flights from 9 January 2022, the ministry of Transport said Thursday in a statement.
"In line with the government's approach of opening up to Africa and its markets, and in implementation of the recommendations of the regular meetings held by the ministry of Transport with air carriers, an agreement was concluded between Tassili Airlines and SILVI Tours, on the opening of a new air service between Algeria and Niger," the statement said.
The new air service will cover the cities of Algiers, Tamanrasset, Agadez and Niamey, according to the statement.
The new service's weekly charter flights will start Sunday 9 January 2022 in full respect of the health protocol and the conditions of entry between the two countries, the ministry noted.
