ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra said that the emergence of the crises in the world including in Syria, Yemen and Libya have proved the correctness of the positions adopted by Algeria.
In his speech at the ordinary session of the Council of the Arab League at ministerial level, Minister Lamamra said that "Algeria has constantly warned against these conflicts, especially since the evolution of events in these countries have clearly shown the correctness of the positions adopted by Algeria since the outbreak of the crises in the brotherly countries, Syria, Yemen and Libya.
"These were and remain the positions of Algeria, which are based on two fundamental principles: non-interference in the internal affairs of States and dialogue to achieve peaceful and consensual political solutions that preserve the unity and sovereignty of Arab States and achieve the legitimate ambitions of their peoples," said the head of Algerian diplomacy.
Moreover, Lamamra called for the implementation of these two principles in the context of structuring relations between the Arab world and neighboring countries that share membership in the Islamic civilization.
The work of the ordinary session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level has focused on the examination of a number of current political issues in the Arab world, leading the Palestinian issue.
