Lamamra- Guterres talks on Western Sahara, Libya and Mali

NEW YORK (UNITED NATIONS)-Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community, Ramtane Lamamra held talks Saturday with the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres on regional issues, notably Western Sahara, Libya and Mali, said a UN statement.

"The Secretary General met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria. The Secretary-General and the Minister discussed regional issues, including Western Sahara, Libya and Mali," said the source.

"The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Algeria's continued efforts towards and security in Northern African and the Sahel region," said the source.
