Istanbul attack: No Algerian casualty reported so far

ALGIERS- "No Algerian casualty has been reported so far" in the attack perpetrated on New Year's Eve in Istanbul, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Abdelaziz Benali Cherif announced Sunday.

"So far, no Algerian casualty has been reported among the victims of the attack perpetrated yesterday in Istanbul. Our consular services are closely following developments in coordination with the relevant Turkish authorities," Benali Cherif told APS.

The attack left 39 people dead including at least 16 foreigners. The perpetrator is still being hunted. The attack also made 69 wounded including four serious.
