CHAN: Algeria beats Ethiopia (1-0), reaches quarterfinals

ALGIERS - The Algerian national team of local players has qualified for the quarterfinals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2022 (January 13 - February 4), by beating its Ethiopian counterpart with a score of 1-0 (half-time: 0-0), in a match counting for the second day of group A, played Tuesday evening at the Nelson-Mandela stadium in Baraki (Algiers).
