Online Africa Chess Championship kicks off

ORAN- The events of the online Africa Chess Championship (individual) kicked off Monday with the participation of 200 chess players from ten countries.

This five-day competition, organized by the African Chess Confederation, will be held in Open (all categories), seniors (women), juniors (girls and Open) and veterans ( over 50 years).

The Algerian team will participate with 12 chess players, namely Latrach Sabrina, Mezioud Amina ( senior women), Haddouche Mohamed, Bilal Bellahcen and Sedaoui Amine (senior men). Nasr Lina, Ines Bellatar and Imene Zerarga (juinor girls), Walid Bellatar, Brahimi Lamine and Rami Beghriche (junior boys) and Haddouche Belabbes (over 50 years category).
