Geneva International Challenge: Swimmers Ardjoun, Djaballah win bronze

GENEVA (Switzerland)- Algerian swimmers Ardjoun Abdellah and Djabellah Anis won the bronze medal of the 50-meter backstroke and 1500-meter front crawl at the 54th Geneva International Challenge (January 15-17).

Algerian swimmer Ardjoun Abdellah (Algeria Post) is ranked third, clocking 25.87 seconds in the 50 meters backstroke event.

He qualified for the World Championship in Abu Dhabi (December 2021) and the World Championship in Japan (May 2022).

His compatriot, Djabellah Anis, won the bronze medal in the 1500 meters front crawl, clocking 16 minutes and 08.16 seconds.

The competition will continue on Saturday with the participation of Melih Amel in the 100 and 50 meters front crawl and Ardjoun Abdellah in the 200 meters back crawl.
Swimmer Djabellah will also compete in the 400 meters crawl.
