Coronavirus: 107 new cases, 83 recoveries and three deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 107 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, 83 recoveries and three deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in Algeria, announced Sunday the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached 204,597, that of deaths 5,853 cases while the number of recovered patients has reached 140,238, said the source.

However, 15 patients are currently under intensive care, said the source.

A total of 26 provinces didn't record any cases in the last 24 hours, 18 others recorded between 1 and 9 cases while four provinces recorded more than 10 cases, according to the source.

The ministry underlined that the current epidemiological situation requires from all citizens vigilance and respect of the hygiene rules and physical distancing, stressing the obligation of wearing masks and respecting the lockdown.
