Coronavirus: 123 new cases, 116 recoveries and 4 deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 164 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 148 recoveries and seven deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Tuesday in a statement.

The total number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 264.488, the number of deaths to 6.816 and that of recovered patients to 177.082, the statement said.

In addition, 18 patients are currently under intensive care, according to the statement.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing, while insisting on the obligation of wearing masks.
