Coronavirus: 1343 new cases, 710 recoveries, 13 deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 1343 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 710 recoveries and 13 deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Monday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 252.117, the number of deaths to 6.579 and that of recovered patients to 167.715, the statement said.

In addition, 32 patients are under intensive care, according to the statement.

The statement added that 10 provinces have had no positive cases in the last twenty-four hours, nine others have reported between one and nine cases while 29 provinces have recorded at least 10 cases.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing.

It recalled the obligation of compliance with the lockdown measures and wearing masks.
