Coronavirus: 138 new cases, 109 recoveries and 4 deaths

ALGIERS- 138 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), 109 recoveries and 4 deaths were reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, said Spokesman of the Scientific Committee in charge of Monitoring the Evolution of the Pandemic, Djamel Fourar.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus amounts to 114,681, including 138 new cases over the last 24hours, that of deaths reaches 3,026 cases, while the number of patients who have recovered rose to 79,428, stressed Fourar during the daily press briefing devoted to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Moreover, 19 patients are actually in intensive care, Fourar further added.

In addition, 23 provinces have recorded, during the last 24 hours, less than 9 cases, 21 other provinces haven' recorded any cases, while 4 more have reported more than 10 cases.
