Coronavirus : 156 new cases, 111 recoveries and 3 deaths

ALGIERS - One hundred and fifty-six (156) new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 111 recoveries and 3 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Algeria, the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform said on Sunday in a press release.

The total number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus thus amounts to 119,642 including 156 new cases in the last 24 hours. The toll of deaths rose to 3,155 cases, while the number of patients who recovered reached 83,397 cases, the press release said.

In addition, 21 patients are currently in intensive care units, adds the same source.

In addition, 22 provinces have not recorded any cases during the last 24 hours, 21 others have recorded from 1 to 9 cases, while 5 provinces have recorded more than 10 cases.
