Coronavirus: 17 new cases, no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS-Seventeen (17) confirmed new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 14 recoveries and 00 deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said Tuesday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases hit (266,164) and the number of deaths remains unchanged (6875). The number of recoveries reached (178,606), the statement said.

A patient is under intensive care.

According to the same source, 43 provinces have reported no cases.

The ministry stresses the need to maintain vigilance, abide by the rules of hygiene and physical distancing, and keep wearing masks.
