Coronavirus: 184 new cases, 134 recoveries, 7 deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 184 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 134 recoveries and seven deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform said Thursday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 124 288, including the 184 new cases in the past 24 hours, the number of deaths to 3335 and that of recovered patients to 86 554, the statement said.

In addition, 22 patients are under intensive care, according to the statement.

The statement added that 29 provinces have had no positive cases in the last twenty-four hours, 14 others have reported between one and nine cases while five provinces have recorded more than 10 cases.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing.

It recalled the obligation of compliance with the lockdown and wearing of masks.
