Coronavirus: 210 new cases, 179 recoveries, 6 deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 210 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 179 recoveries and six deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Monday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 213.058, the number of deaths to 6.151 and that of recovered patients to 146.519, the statement said.

In addition, 26 patients are under intensive care, according to the statement.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing.

It recalled the obligation of compliance with the lockdown measures and wearing masks.
