Coronavirus: 277 new cases, 203 recoveries and eight deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 277 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, 203 recoveries and eight deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in Algeria, announced Sunday the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached 130,958, including 277 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, that of deaths 3,518 cases while the number of recovered patients has reached 91,198 said the source.

However, 19 patients are currently under intensive care, said the source.

A total of 21 provinces haven't recorded any cases in the last 24 hours, 19 others recorded less than 10 cases while 8 provinces recorded more than 10 cases, according to the source.

The ministry underlined that the current epidemiological situation requires from all citizens vigilance and respect of the hygiene rules and physical distancing, stressing the obligation of wearing masks and respecting the lockdown.
