Coronavirus: 3 new cases, four recoveries no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS- A total of 3 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), four recoveries and no death have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the Ministry of Health said Tuesday in a statement.

The total number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 265.730, the number of deaths to 6.874 and that of recovered patients to 178.327, the statement said.

In addition, two patients are currently under intensive care, according to the statement, adding that 45 provinces didn't record any cases, while three other provinces recorded between 1 and 9 cases.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing, while insisting on the obligation of wearing masks.
