Coronavirus: 325 new cases, 215 recoveries, 9 deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 325 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 215 recoveries and nine deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform said Monday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 131,283, including the 325 new cases in the past 24 hours, the number of deaths to 3,527 and that of recovered patients to 91,413, the statement said.

In addition, 20 patients are under intensive care, according to the statement.

The statement added that 20 provinces have had no positive cases in the last twenty-four hours, 16 others have reported at least ten cases while 12 provinces have recorded more than 10 cases.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing.

It recalled the obligation of compliance with the lockdown and wearing of masks.
