Coronavirus: 354 new cases, 242 recoveries and 8 deaths

ALGIERS- Three hundred and fifty four (354) new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 242 recoveries and 8 deaths have been recorded over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the Ministry of Health, Population and of the Hospital Reform announced on Monday in a press release.

The total number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus thus amounted to 133,742 including 354 new ones registered during the last 24 hours. The number of deaths rose to 3,579 cases, while the number of patients who recovered increased to 93,094, the press release said.

In addition, 30 patients are currently in intensive care units, adds the same source.

In addition, 21 provinces have not recorded any new cases during the last 24 hours. 17 provinces have recorded between 1 and 9 cases while 10 provinces have recorded more than ten cases.
