Coronavirus: 413 new cases, 340 recoveries, 15 deaths

ALGIERS- A total of 413 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), 340 recoveries and 15 deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Monday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 262.165, the number of deaths to 6.744 and that of recovered patients to 175.048, the statement said.

In addition, 27 patients are under intensive care, according to the statement.

The statement added that 19 provinces have had no positive cases in the last twenty-four hours, 16 others have reported between one and nine cases while 13 provinces have recorded at least 10 cases.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing.

It recalled the obligation of compliance with the lockdown measures and wearing masks.
