Coronavirus: 97 new cases, 64 recoveries and 07 deaths over last 24 hours

ALGIERS-A total of 97 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, 64 recoveries and 07 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Algeria, announced Saturday the Ministry of Health in a communiqué.

The number of confirmed cases has hit 207,970 and that of deaths has reached 5,984 while 142,698 patients have recovered, said the source.

Besides, 18 patients are currently under intensive care, said the source.

In addition, 26 provinces have not reported any cases during the last 24 hours while 19 have recorded from 1 to 9 cases. Three (03) provinces recorded more than 10 cases.
