Coronavirus: Four new cases, no death in last 24 hours

ALGIERS- Four new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), two recoveries but no death have been reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, the ministry of Health said Sunday in a statement.

The number of confirmed cases in Algeria amounts to 265,724, the number of deaths remains unchanged (6874) while that of recovered patients stands at 178,321, the statement said.

Four patients are under intensive care, according to the statement, which noted that 45 provinces have recorded no cases while three have reported between one and nine.

The ministry stressed that the current epidemiological situation requires vigilance and observation of the rules of hygiene and physical distancing.

It recalled the obligation of compliance with the lockdown measures and wearing masks.
