Covid-19: 204 new cases, 140 recoveries and seven deaths

ALGIERS- - A total of 204 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, 140 recoveries and seven deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in Algeria, announced Sunday the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached 124,104, including 204 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, that of deaths 3,328 cases while the number of recovered patients has reached 86,420, said the source.

However, 23 patients are currently under intensive care, said the source.

A total of 29 provinces haven't recorded any cases in the last 24 hours, 14 others recorded between 1 and 9 cases while five provinces recorded more than 10 cases, according to the source.

The ministry underlined that the current epidemiological situation requires from all citizens vigilance and respect of the hygiene rules and physical distancing, stressing the obligation of wearing masks and respecting the lockdown.
