Covid-19: 293 new cases, 190 recoveries and 08 deaths over last 24 hours

ALGIERS-A total of 293 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, 209 recoveries and 08 deaths have been recorded over the last 24 hours in Algeria, announced Monday the Ministry of Health in a communiqué.

The number of confirmed cases has hit 216,930 and that of deaths has reached 6,246 while 149,194 patients have recovered, said the source.

Besides, 34 patients are currently under intensive care, said the source.

In addition, 19 provinces have not reported any cases during the last 24 hours while 19 have recorded from 1 to 9 cases. Ten (10) provinces recorded more than 10 cases.
