ALGIERS- Air Force aircraft landed Friday evening at the Air Base of Boufarik, Blida, carrying three million doses of Covid-19 vaccine acquired from China, the ministry of National Defence said Saturday in a statement.
"As part of the enhanced efforts of the national health system to make available the necessary means to stem the spread of the coronavirus, a military aircraft belonging to our Air Force has landed in the evening of Friday, 10 September 2021, at the Air Base of Boufarik (1st military region), carrying a batch of three million doses of anti-covid-19 vaccines, acquired from the People's Republic of China," the statement said.
The operation "shows, once again, the readiness of the People's National Army to respond to the nation's call, to be at the service of the Algerian people in all circumstances and to perfectly accomplish its humanitarian missions."
