Dear American Friends, Dear Compatriots, Dear Embassy Website Visitors,

On the occasion of the presentation of my Letters of Credence on Feb. 23, 2015, as Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the United States of America, I am particularly delighted to welcome you on the Website of the Embassy of Algeria in Washington. I would also like to express to you my thanks for your continued interest in Algeria and in the high-quality relations that it enjoys in friendship and mutual respect with the United States of America.

These strong, dense and mutually beneficial relations are destined to increasingly strengthen and diversify even more, moved not only by the will and availability expressed by our two countries but also by the promising potentialities held by both of them.

As I look forward to the prospect of significantly developing our relations of cooperation and concertation at all levels, I wish for this Website to meet the expectations of all those wishing to know Algeria better.

I also wish for this Website to act as an effective link with our compatriots living in the United States and enable them to keep in touch with their homeland and follow its resolute march on the road to economic, social and cultural progress, in restored peace and national reconciliation.
