ALGIERS-Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Tuesday reaffirmed his country's commitment to continue coordination and consultation with Algeria on regional and international issues of interest to both countries, including the joint Arab action.

In a statement to the press after an audience with the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Saudi FM reaffirmed "his country's committed to continued coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of interest to Algeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including joint Arab action, as well as the coordination of positions on OPEC and trade between the two countries.

Prince Bin Farhan said he conveyed to President Tebboune "a verbal message from his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Places and the Crown Prince on the fraternal and long-standing relations uniting the two countries."

"He emphasized the exceptional development of our ties as evidenced by the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince to Algiers and the visit made by President Tebboune to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2020, at the invitation of King Salmane Ben bdelaziz," said Bin Farhan.

He also said he conveyed "greetings from the Custodian of the Holy Places and the Crown Prince to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the brotherly Algerian people."
