Algeria, "important" partner for Poland

ALGIERS- Deputy Chief of Polish diplomacy Joanna Wronecka said, Monday, that Algeria is “an important partner,” expressing her wish to “strengthen relations between the two countries and the development of bilateral cooperation.”

“Algeria is an important partner for Poland. We want to boost political dialogue to the highest level,” said Wronecka at the end of a working session with the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Abdelhamid Senouci Bereksi.

On this occasion, she highlighted the role played by Algeria at the regional and international levels, thanks to its “active and effective” diplomacy, she stressed, citing particularly its role in the signing of the Peace Agreement in Mali and its efforts to find a political solution to the Libyan crisis.

“This deserves the support of the international community,” she said.

In addition, Wronecka said that Algeria and Poland “maintain deep and friendly relations, likely to promote the strengthening and diversification of bilateral relations.”
