China-Arab States: Boukadoum attends 9th CASCF ministerial meeting

ALGIERS- Foreign Minister Affairs Sabri Boukadoum took part a at the ninth ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF), held by videoconference, under the co-chairmanship of the foreign ministers of Jordan and China, the ministry of foreign Affairs said Tuesday in a statement.

The session provided an opportunity to "assess the progress of cooperation between the Arab States and the People's Republic of China."

The ministers discussed "the prospects and ways of promotion of (cooperation between the two sides) in all areas, to serve common interests and strengthen solidarity and strategic partnership between them."

They also examine several international and regional issues, especially the Palestinian issue, the Libyan crisis, the situation in Syria and Yemen, in addition to the efforts to combat terrorism.

Boukadoum emphasized "the Algerian approach to the settlement of crises by peaceful means and inclusive dialogue, bringing together all the parties concerned, away from any foreign interference in the internal affairs of countries."
