ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune said he is satisfied that the people repatriated from Wuhan (China), because of the epidemic of new Coronavirus, are in good health, after 14 days of quarantine.
"It is with great satisfaction that I've learnt about the news that our children are safe from any virus after the period of quarantine. I wish you good health and success in your studies and share with your families and relatives the joy that you are healthy while offering my heartfelt thanks to the team that was responsible for your repatriation and all people who participated in your treatment," wrote Tebboune in a tweet on his official account.
The Algerian, Libyan and Mauritanian nationals repatriated from Wuhan, in China, because of the epidemic of new Coronavirus, were authorized Sunday to leave the Rais Hotel in Algiers where they were confined for two weeks.
A special aircraft of the national company Air Algerie was sent on 2 February on instruction of President of the Republic to repatriate the Algerians established in the Chinese city of Wuhan. This special flight allowed evacuating 31 Algerians as well as 17 Tunisian, Libyan and Mauritanian nationals.
