Former head of State Abdelkader Bensalah passes away

ALGIERS- The former head of State and former speaker of the Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament), Abdelkader Bensalah, died Wednesday in Algiers, the presidency of the Republic has announced.
The late Bensalah will be buried tomorrow Thursday at the cemetery of El-Alia, in Algiers, following the prayer of Dhuhr in the afternoon.
