ANTANANARIVO- The Algerian judo team won four medals (3 silver and 1 bronze) at the end of the events of the 3rd day of the African Judo Championships, competed Saturday at Antananarivo in Madagascar.
The silver medals were snatched by Sonia Asselah (+78 kg), Abderrahmane Benamadi (-90 kg) and Mohamed Sofiane Belrekaa (+100 kg) who all lost in the finals to Cameroun's Vanessa Mballa Atangana, Egypt's Abdelakher Hatem and Senegal's Ndiaye Mbaniek, respectively.
The bronze medal was won by Kaouther Ouallal (-78 kg).
After three days of competition, Algeria's harvest rises to six medals (1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze)
