APS - 28 November 2020

ALGIERS- The national technical directorate (DTN) of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) intends to create the first school of goalkeepers within the second academy that will be installed at the Regional Technical Center (CTR) of Sidi Bel-Abbès, said the federation Saturday in a statement.

The national technical director, Chafik Ameur, will present the project of this school at the next meeting of the federal office of the FAF for review and validation, the same source said.

"This project, which will start with about ten young goalkeepers (divided into two groups with boys born in 2006 and 2007), is part of the development plan of national soccer and the implementation of the recommendations of the symposium on the renewal of national soccer organized by the FAF on 11 and 12 December 2017 in Algiers, including the training and development workshop", concludes the Algerian federation.
